Constitution Chapter VIII

Industry Partner & Event Standards

Articles 31, 32 and 33 explained in plain language. This page describes standards that already govern industry partners, events and commercial content on InkHub — it is informational, there is nothing to accept or apply for, and reading it creates no obligation for any partner, studio, artist or customer.

What an Industry Partner is (Article 31)

An Industry Partner is a business that serves the tattoo profession — suppliers, manufacturers, educators, publications, event organisers and similar organisations. A partner listing describes that business and the contribution it offers to the profession.

  • A partner listing is a business record, never a marketplace participant record.
  • Partners do not employ, represent, roster or speak for anyone on InkHub.
  • Partner participation is reviewed against published standards, not purchased influence.
  • A partner never becomes a required step between a customer and an artist.

Partner presence never buys marketplace advantage (Article 31.5)

Partner records, sponsorships, commercial offers and industry recognition live in their own part of InkHub. They are structurally separate from the systems that decide how artists and studios are found, certified or held to account.

  • Partner, sponsorship, offer and recognition data never feeds artist or studio search results.
  • It never feeds certification, dispute handling or enforcement outcomes.
  • Industry recognition is editorial acknowledgement of a business; it changes no ranking.
  • Systems that remain deferred are not activated, referenced or influenced by partner data.

Events and conventions (Article 32)

Partners may publish events, conventions, seminars and guest-spot announcements. An event page describes the event: its organiser, dates, venue, ticketing and official announcements.

  • Event listings are reviewed before publication and carry a clear content label.
  • An event describes itself; it does not describe the marketplace standing of anyone attending.
  • Events create no booking, deposit, project or payment relationship on InkHub.

Artist participation is opt-in only (Article 32.4)

An independent artist appears in connection with an event only when that artist chooses to. Participation is an invitation the artist may accept or decline, and it is the artist's own decision every time.

  • No event, partner, sponsor, studio or administrator can roster or claim an artist.
  • No third party can create a public affiliation on an artist's behalf.
  • An artist is never represented as participating without accepting the invitation.
  • Participation never transfers control of an artist's profile, pricing, bookings or record.
  • Declining, or ignoring, an invitation carries no marketplace consequence.

Commercial offers and sponsorship disclosure (Article 33)

Partners may publish commercial offers, product information and strategic partnership announcements. Anything commercial is labelled as such so that no one has to guess what they are reading.

  • Sponsored and promotional content carries a visible sponsorship disclosure.
  • Commercial content is separated from editorial and educational content by label.
  • Offers link out to the partner; InkHub does not process the transaction.
  • There is no checkout, cart, billing or paid placement purchase on InkHub today.

Independence of the marketplace (Article 33.6)

Commercial relationships never buy standing, visibility or protection inside the marketplace. The separation is architectural, not a promise of good behaviour.

  • A commercial relationship never alters consultations, quotes, bookings, deposits or disputes.
  • It never alters the rights of customers or the independence of artists.
  • Partner-facing surfaces and marketplace surfaces do not share ranking inputs.

Sustainability and reinvestment (Article 33.7)

The Constitution describes how commercial revenue should sustain and be reinvested into the profession. That provision is currently a principle: the commerce and payment infrastructure it depends on is deferred, and nothing on InkHub charges a partner today.

This page is informational

Reading this page creates no obligation. There is nothing here to accept, apply for, enrol in or acknowledge, it does not require an account, and it changes nothing about how any partner, studio, artist or customer is treated on InkHub.
