Creator Rights

The Creator Rights, Content Ownership & Licensing Policy establishes the constitutional principles governing ownership, licensing, and responsible use of creative works within the InkHub marketplace.

InkHub recognizes that artists, studios, photographers, educational organizations, Industry Partners, and customers all contribute valuable content to the marketplace.

This Article protects:

Participants retain ownership of the original content they create, including:

• •Tattoo portfolios
• •Tattoo photographs
• •Artwork
• •Flash designs
• •Educational materials
• •Studio photography
• •Original written content

Participants retain ownership of the original content they create. Uploading content to InkHub does not transfer ownership to InkHub.

To operate the marketplace, participants grant InkHub a license solely to:

• •Display uploaded content.
• •Promote artist profiles.
• •Display portfolios within search results.
• •Feature artists, studios, and Industry Partners.
• •Market the InkHub platform.

This license exists solely to operate and promote the marketplace. It grants no broad commercial licensing, no resale rights, no sublicensing to third parties for their own products, and no ownership. Ownership always remains with the creator.

InkHub shall not knowingly claim ownership of participant-created content simply because it is uploaded to the platform.

Creators deserve recognition for their work.

• •Customers retain ownership of photographs they personally create.
• •Artists retain ownership of photographs they personally create.
• •When multiple parties contribute to content, InkHub encourages mutual respect and appropriate permissions for promotional use.

InkHub does not determine copyright ownership beyond these principles and operates no copyright adjudication process.

• AI operating within InkHub shall support creativity rather than replace or misappropriate it.
• AI shall not misappropriate artwork.
• AI shall not misidentify creators.
• AI shall not intentionally present another participant's original work as belonging to someone else.
• Where AI-generated content is used, InkHub promotes transparency whenever reasonably practical.
• AI makes no autonomous ownership decisions; human oversight remains required.

These commitments reuse the AI governance framework already established under Articles 34–36. Article 41 adds no new AI authority and no ownership engine.

Participants shall not knowingly:

• Copy another artist's portfolio.
• Claim another creator's work.
• Upload copyrighted material without appropriate rights.
• Misrepresent authorship.
• Use InkHub content in ways that violate platform policies.

Violations may result in constitutional enforcement through the existing Marketplace Integrity and Constitutional Enforcement workflow (Articles 22–24). Article 41 introduces no second moderation system, no takedown workflow and no copyright court.

Concerns are raised through the existing Community Standards process.

These remain the intellectual property of InkHub. Unauthorized commercial copying or misuse may be restricted and enforced according to applicable law.

Constitutional documentation and protection only. InkHub applies no digital rights management and operates no automated legal enforcement software.

Whenever reasonably practical, original creators receive appropriate attribution when their work is displayed within the marketplace. Attribution is derived from the existing profile that owns the content — no separate attribution system is maintained.

InkHub recognizes that commissioned tattoo projects may involve creative rights and expectations held by both artists and customers. Agree on these points in your consultation before work begins. This encourages clarity; it does not decide every copyright issue and provides no legal arbitration.
