Constitution Chapter VII
Studio Network Standards
Articles 28, 29 and 30 explained in plain language. This page describes standards that already govern InkHub Studios — it is informational, there is nothing to accept, and reading it creates no obligation for any studio, artist or customer.
What a Studio listing is (Article 28)
A Studio on InkHub is a business listing owned and maintained by the studio itself. It presents the studio's own information — its space, hours, location, amenities, contact details, events, guest spots, recruiting posts and products.
- • A Studio listing describes a business, not the people who work in it.
- • Studios may promote their own business information openly.
- • Studio membership is free; verification confirms the business, not any individual.
- • A Studio never becomes a required step between a customer and an independent artist.
Independent artists stay independent
Independent artists on InkHub own their own profile, pricing, consultations, bookings, project records and reputation. A studio never holds authority over any of that, whatever private working arrangement exists off the listing.
- • InkHub does not publish a studio-affiliated artist roster or directory.
- • Studio surfaces never display artist profiles, links, metrics or reputation by virtue of affiliation.
- • A studio cannot manage, pause, price, rank or represent an independent artist's marketplace presence.
- • Any studio–artist working relationship is private information, not a public claim.
Accuracy and honesty (Article 29)
Studios are responsible for keeping their own business information truthful and current, and for updating it when something material changes. Information a studio publishes is treated as a statement by that business.
- • Business details, hours, location and amenities should reflect reality.
- • Licensing, registration and health documentation belong to the studio, not to InkHub.
- • A studio may not claim credentials, associations or capabilities it does not hold.
- • A studio may not present independent artists as its own staff, roster or portfolio.
Studio orientation and conduct
Before a Studio becomes publicly visible, the studio completes an orientation covering the marketplace standards it operates under and acknowledges the responsibilities that come with a public business listing. That acknowledgment already exists and is recorded once.
- • Orientation explains the standards; it does not grant authority over artists.
- • Conduct standards apply to the studio as a business entity.
- • Concerns about a studio are reviewed against the documented record.
Studio Health reflects the studio only (Article 29.11)
The Studio Health Score is a private, studio-facing indicator of the studio's own participation and commitment to marketplace standards. It is calculated on demand from studio-owned signals and is never a public ranking.
- • It uses studio-owned factors: presentation, profile completeness and accuracy, responsiveness to required updates, standards compliance and ecosystem participation.
- • It never uses artist certification, reputation, reviews, ratings, badges or standing.
- • It is separate from anything an independent artist owns and never influences it.
- • It does not rank studios against each other and does not affect search results by itself.
Promotion standards (Article 30)
A studio may choose to promote its own listing and its own content. Promotion changes visibility and nothing else: it is clearly labelled, and it never alters marketplace outcomes, quality, protections or anyone's rights.
- • Promoted placements are labelled as promoted wherever they appear.
- • Promotion never affects consultations, quotes, bookings, deposits or dispute outcomes.
- • Promotion never promotes, ranks or advantages an independent artist.
- • Free studio membership and free marketplace participation are unaffected.
- • Paid purchase of promotional placement is not available yet; nothing on InkHub charges a studio today.
Studio analytics measure the studio (Article 30.8)
Participating studios can see how their own listing and content perform — profile views, search and placement impressions, deliberate interactions, enquiries, applications and other studio-owned outcomes.
- • Every metric describes the studio or content the studio owns.
- • Artist profile clicks and any artist-level performance data are deliberately excluded.
- • Analytics never expose customer identities or private project information.
This page is informational
Reading this page creates no obligation. There is nothing here to accept, sign or acknowledge, it does not require an account, and it changes nothing about how any studio, artist or customer is treated on InkHub.
